These documents are legally binding. Governing law and jurisdiction may vary by your location and are set out in each policy (e.g. Terms of Service, Privacy Policy).
1. Purpose and scope
This Advertising Policy ("Ads Policy") applies to all advertising and promoted content on HubQuery, including HubQuery Ads, sponsored or boosted listings, and any paid or incentivized placement on the platform. It forms part of our Terms of Service and our Acceptable Use Policy.
Advertisers (agents, agencies, hosts, developers, and other users who run ads or promoted content) must comply with this policy and with all applicable laws, including local advertising and consumer protection rules in the countries where their ads are shown.
2. Permitted advertising
Advertising on HubQuery is intended to help property seekers discover relevant listings and to help advertisers reach qualified audiences. Permitted ads include:
- Promoted property listings (sale, rent, short-term) that correspond to real, available properties
- New development and project marketing where the project and developer are accurately identified
- Real estate agency or professional branding and lead-generation ads
- Service offerings (e.g. valuation, legal, moving) related to property and real estate, where the advertiser is clearly identified
All ads must be truthful, clearly distinguishable as advertising where required by law, and must not target or discriminate on the basis of protected characteristics in any way that violates applicable law.
3. Prohibited ad content and behavior
The following are not allowed in ads or promoted content on HubQuery:
- False or misleading claims — Incorrect property details, prices, availability, or incentives; fake reviews or testimonials; or impersonation of another person or brand
- Discriminatory targeting or content — Excluding or targeting audiences based on protected characteristics (e.g. race, religion, national origin, gender, disability) where prohibited by law
- Prohibited or restricted goods/services — Listings or offers that violate law or platform policy (e.g. illegal rentals, fraudulent investment schemes)
- Deceptive or intrusive formats — Ads that mimic system or support messages, or that use aggressive or misleading click tactics
- Intellectual property infringement — Use of third-party trademarks, logos, or content without authorization
- Adult, violent, or hateful content — Content that is pornographic, gratuitously violent, or that promotes hatred or discrimination
We may reject, pause, or remove any ad that we reasonably believe violates this policy or applicable law. Repeated or serious violations may result in loss of advertising privileges and account action under our Terms of Service.
4. Targeting and compliance
Where we offer audience targeting (e.g. by location, search behavior, or segment), advertisers must use targeting only in a manner consistent with applicable law, including data protection and non-discrimination requirements. You are responsible for ensuring that your ad campaigns and targeting comply with local advertising standards in each country where your ads are displayed.
We may provide tools or labels to disclose sponsored or promoted content. You must use them as required and must not circumvent or obscure the commercial nature of your content where disclosure is required.
5. Billing and performance
Billing for HubQuery Ads and promoted placement is governed by the payment and subscription terms applicable to your account and any separate advertising agreement. We do not guarantee specific reach, clicks, or conversions. Refunds and disputes are subject to our Payment Terms and any applicable advertising terms you accepted when creating a campaign.
6. Changes and contact
We may update this Advertising Policy from time to time. Continued use of advertising or promoted placement after changes constitutes acceptance. For questions, to report a violating ad, or to request a review, contact [email protected] or [email protected].
